The artisans of Bottega Veneta used, instead, a light leather, usually used to create gloves, which allowed them to create soft and flexible bags. When Tomas Maier joined the company in 2001 as creative director, the Intertwining was the starting point of his vision, because it perfectly represented the brand’s DNA.
