Relax on the Etruschi Coast

The Tombolo Talasso Resort is a former 30s colony on the Riva degli Etruschi, lately transformed into a magnificent five-star destination, where nature and technology meet in a holistic path that results in physical and mental well-being.

Tombolo Talasso Resort is a unique complex in Italy, oozing style and sophistication and boasting 96 rooms overlooking the Mediterranean, a spa with beauty treatments, exhibit halls and meeting rooms. But above all, it boasts five sea-water pools in caves dedicated to sea treatments. An ancient method using water, seaweed, mud and sand as the perfect ingredients to resource you to the bone and make you enjoy thalasso-therapy year round.

The saline water is taken 900 meters from the coast. In addition to the five pools there are jet showers and an underwater massage. The large heated pool has a temperature of 35-37° C, allowing the skin to absorb the sea minerals; the whirlpool is equipped with underwater beds; the Kneipp vascular pool – alternating cold and hot water to boost blood circulation – also features rocks that produce a natural massage, with an adjoining pool for swimming against the current; a multisensory pool lies in an acoustically isolated cave to reproduce the protective effect of the womb, enriched with essential eucalyptus, camomile, horse chestnut and melissa oils for aromatherapy cures. Soft music is played all around to gently stimulate all your senses.

The restaurant – with its charming terrace – serves refined dishes concocted by Pietro Scarale, who serves local and international cuisine and different types of menus: from gourmet tastings to low-calorie and detox. He even offers a children’s menu upon request, and his cellar boasts a selection of Bolgheri’s best wines to accompany your main dishes and desserts. The top cuisine makes the Tombolo Talasso Resort a real gem, attracting a variety of guests that have one thing in common: a passion for Tuscany, relaxation and wellness.
