As ever, spring brings a wind of change to our wardrobe. Here are some trends you shouldn’t miss.

Urban Jungle
African, camouflage, leopard and Native American prints. Valentino Spring 2016 offers leather bags inspired by colourful Masai tribal decorations. Bags are practical yet elegant, with removable shoulder straps in African patterns.

Romantic and all-white is Balenciaga‘s choice for chic bohemian clothing in transparent textures, and almost impalpable flowery blouses. A casual bomber becomes a tailored masterpiece in Gucci‘s hands, through intricate black lace embroidery accentuated by shades of pink to give you a new, softer street style.

Green galore for the 2016 spring summer collections, to give you a perfect complement if you love warm, intense and bright emerald green hues. Take your pick between Gucci‘s silk blouse and green suede moccasins with the classic silhouette and fringes, embellished by hand with the iconic double G.

Graphic and floral patterns

The most coveted prints however are graphic and floral. The Botticelli Valentino spring collection is an ode to elegance and femininity, with multicoloured miniature flowers on a black background as the fabric of choice for silk mini dresses with bows around the neckline, worn with matching clutch bag made of handcrafted leather in shades of red, ivory and black. Stella McCartney showcases a crêpe dresses with interweaving floral print and coloured black, ivory and orange additions for a stylish and chic look.

More stripes for 2016, this time with a touch of glam. Saint Laurent brings back the classic cotton jersey straight-cut and large neckline T-shirt to give you a vintage appeal. Stripes for Fendi too, blended with luxurious details to make even the simplest of knitted dresses unique. Emilio Pucci has opted for a simple minimalist texture in pure silk with vertical stripes.
