Autumn / Winter campaign 17.18

Renowned fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh signs the shots of the new Ermanno Scervino collection. A modern, feminine and sensitive artists lends his hand to the Florentine designer.

The Ermanno Scervino advertising campaign for autumn / winter 2017-2018 is an embodiment of excellence. The fashion house has chosen Italian top model Mariacarla Boscono as the face of the campaign signed by photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Mariacarla and Victor Norlander are portrayed as they walk in the open air along Parisian pavements. The leaden sky, long tree-lined river Seine and iconic Parisian bridges create a black and white film scene in which Ermanno Scervino’s fall winter 2017-2018 collection comes to life. A kind of film whose soundtrack seems to echo the French countryside at the time of the crusades and Joan of Arc.

Scervino expresses the passing of time and of the ages by drawing transverse links in the male wardrobe. Military style hints are reinterpreted with light feminine touches, straps, embroidery and fur inlays.

“The woman I imagined for this collection is strong, independent, and chooses to match men’s inspirational dresses and flat shoes with ultra-light dresses, creating a new expression of femininity. Mariacarla is the perfect face because, with her personality, she can interpret all my creations in an original and authentic way. I have long wanted to work with Peter Lindbergh, with whom I have now been collaborating for several seasons. We barely need to talk to understand each other” explains Ermanno Scervino.

These scenes portrayed in fine photography once again celebrate a union that has been going on for several seasons, where the German photographer’s view is able to capture Ermanno Scervino’s exclusive and elegant universe.
