From 14 to 17 April, special events and installations for four days that scent the air with spring

Sanremo is the city of flowers all year round, but even more so from 14 to 17 April thanks to Pasqua in Fiore, a spectacle that will fill the entire city with extraordinary events and installations, offering visitors a unique and unforgettable experience to delight all the senses.

Crowning the Easter weekend is the Infiorata musicale in Piazza Borea d’Olmo: a giant 70 square metre construction of more than 15,000 flowers built as the public watches by the flower artists of Spello, an Umbrian village famed for its magnificent floral installations, who will gather in the square from 7 am on Friday 15 April and reveal the finished work around 6 pm. In the evening there are irresistible themed dinners in the restaurants of nearby towns involved in the event.

The official launch of the celebrations is the inauguration of another spectacular installation in front of the Santa Tecla Fortress, scheduled for Thursday 14 at 6 pm and followed by a special nighttime light show on the facade of the building, and the Concerto dei Fiori with the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra Sinfonica at the Teatro Centrale (9 pm).

But the party is happening everywhere, with every street, archway and balcony of the Pigna  neighbourhood, the ancient heart of the city, decorated with colour and fragrance, and a route that takes you from Via Matteotti – whose shop windows will be taking part in the Vetrine in Fiore competition – to Via Cavour, up to Piazza Nota, the Rivolte, Piazza dei Dolori and Piazza Santa Brigida.

Meanwhile, a spectacular floral installation will make shopping even more memorable at the exclusive The Mall Sanremo, renowned for its original and immersive special events and decor.

The key date is Saturday at 9 pm, with the Grand Flower Gala in the Roof Garden of the Casino, featuring a performance by Enrico Ruggeri.
