The biodynamic philosophy of Relais Borgo Santo Pietro reaches new heights by providing inspiration and raw materials to its Michelin-starred chef Meo Modo restaurant.

Tuscany has a rich culinary tradition whose flavors are handed down from generation to generation. Andrea Mattei’s restaurant Meo Modo, offers a unique dining experience. The seasonal menu of Meo Modo brings back the authentic Tuscan flavours using local ingredients. The kitchen is a few steps from the estate gardens where organic vegetables, aromatic herbs and honey are produced all year round. These simple yet boastfully traditional ingredients show that Mattei’s style is firmly rooted in the Tuscan region and will give you an unforgettable culinary experience in an enchanting scenery.

Meo Modo is part of an organic farm that stretches over 40 hectares on the luxury estate Relais Borgo Santo Pietro, near Chiusdino (Siena). The villa and the estate have been lovingly restored in to a fantastic, stylish and luxurious hotel with stunning views of the beautiful Valle Serena.

Designed by international architect Jeanette Thottrup, the restaurant interior perfectly combines the finest elements of a classic and contemporary design. The classic style, in line with the origins of this elegant building, are coupled with fresh contemporary elements, giving Borgo Santo Pietro a relaxed country house atmosphere. Inside the Meo Modo restaurant are beautiful antiques, opulent chandeliers, fine linens and hand-painted frescoes, which are inspired by the beautiful gardens and the surrounding countryside.
