Elton John is among one of the artists at the Lucca Summer Festival, performing on 7 July 2019 as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Elton is one of the most successful solo artists of all times, with 38 gold awards, 31 platinum and fine-platinum, over 50 songs in the Top 40 and 300 million records sold all over the world. The 2019 edition will be the 22nd of the Lucca Summer Festival and Elton John’s sixth performance inside the famous the city walls.
Lucca Summer Festival reopens with an extraordinary women’s evening, Giorgia andJanelle Monáe. The Piazza Napoleone will stage an exceptional encounter between an icon of the Italian music scene and one of the great international pop revelations. Giorgia – one of the greatest authors and performers of Italian pop – will be sided by Janelle Monáe, the latest newcomer on the US music scene. A long night of women’s music will let you listen to two of the best voices that the international scene has to offer.
Sting’s European tour My Songs is set to start next summer with shows and concerts in renown festivals, including a show in Italy on 29 July at the Lucca Summer Festival.
Sting’s My Songs is a dynamic and fun tour that will focus on the most popular songs written by the artist during his prolific career as a soloist and Police frontman, full of successes and prizes including 16 Grammy Awards. Sting will play as usual accompanied by his band.
Finally, after more than 60 announced shows and dates in North and South America, Eros Ramazzotti returns to the Lucca Summer Festival to take the stage with songs from the new album VITA CE N’È in addition to the great successes that have made him famous and with which he has won over millions of spectators over a 30-year career.
