A natural park in the Biella Alps

Ermenegildo Zegna’s dream goes beyond fabrics and fashion. His wish is to make the world a better place, following a holistic vision that anticipated the times and fashion trends.

Zegna’s soul lies in the heart of the Biella Alps, in the Zegna haven. A 100 km² natural park that stretches from Trivero, a village where Ermenegildo Zegna founded his wool mill in 1910, up to the peaks of Bielmonte. The project was started by Ermenegildo Zegna in the 30s, during an impressive work of environmental protection around Trivero.

The Oasi Zegna project was born as a natural development to Ermenegildo Zegna’s green thinking, as a way of promoting the area in which the relationship between man, mountain culture and nature are preserved in favor of future generations. Ermenegildo Zegna built a 26 km long road known as Panoramica Zegna to connect the villages in the region to their enchanting natural surroundings. One of the unique attractions in the park is Bielmonte, a ski destination and winter resort favoured by the national ski team as a training ground.
Today the Oasi Zegna is an open air workshop for new generations and an ideal place for families, children and sportsmen to practice activities surrounded by nature all year round, while fully respecting the local ecosystems. Ermenegildo Zegna has helped the inhabitants of the region to get in touch with the beauty of their mountains, an initiative of which the Oasi Zegna is an embodiment.

His commitment continues today. Every year, the Zegna Group dedicates resources to research, seeking to obtain products of the highest quality while respecting the environment. The Oasi Zegna, a protected area that stretches over 100 km²and includes the Panoramica Zegna, was established in 1993 to protect a beautiful area of Italy and encourage people to enjoy it.
