This year marks the 75th anniversary of Coach, the American brand with a luxurious and unique style. An important milestone that Coach is celebrating with a new edition of some popular pieces and the publication of a book dedicated to the brand’s history.

The Coach brand stands for authenticity, innovation and purely American style. The brand was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop in New York, and instantly became a pioneer in manufacturing leather. Over the years, Coach has defined a new concept of luxury, interpreting the dreams and wishes of an entire generation by seeking out an alternative to traditional luxury. Coach then expanded to North America, becoming the first American company of international breadth in the leather industry. Today, Coach is synonymous with New York, making it a premium American style that is popular the world over.

The seminal brand is celebrating 75 years of freedom, individual choices and passion. Its rich heritage is unveiled on this occasion with a special capsule collection consisting in vintage handbags, with models dating back to the 70s and 80s. The original bags have been restored by craftsmen from the Coach team to make them flawless and unique. A very special series dedicated to Peanuts tops it all with applications and embroideries of Snoopy characters.

An essential book illustrates the history of Coach but also the culture and subculture of New York City. Written by Stuart Vevers and Joel Dinerstein with a foreword by Debbie Harry, the book is beautifully illustrated with archive photos and vintage sketches, giving the reader a true insight on to the inspiration behind some of the most iconic models.
